Product Out of Stock? How We Process Back Ordered Products And Delay Payment
With Covid-19 still destabilizing entire supply chains, the furniture industry is no exception. You may have noticed that most products are back ordered 2-5 months in some cases. At HideAndSeekBeds.com, we have made effort to remove any sort of risk in the buying process for our customers by deferring payment on products not in stock. Here is how:
For In Stock Orders
Once you place an order, we will verify with our warehouses and manufacturer if the product(s) is(are) in stock. We do have many products in stock, but not all products are in stock due to these aforementioned supply chain issues. If the product is in stock and can ship within 1-2 weeks (usually ships within a few days), we will capture payment right before the order is ready to ship. Once it ships, we will provide tracking from the carrier.
For Out of Stock Orders/Deferred Payment
Once you place an order, we will verify with our warehouses and manufacturer if the product(s) is(are) in stock. If your product is not in stock, we will notify you and keep your order in place. HideAndSeekBeds and the manufacturer will put your order on our "first come, first served" list of back orders. We will also let your payment expire so you won't be charged while keeping your place in line. This means that you are not actually charged for the order.
Once your order becomes available, our warehouses/manufacturers will notify us and we in turn will notify you, so please provide us with an email and phone number you regularly use. We will also send a new invoice requesting payment (since we let your original payment expire) honoring the original pricing from your order. Once we receive your payment authorization from your completed invoice, we will ship your order and provide you with tracking.
We do this so that you don't have to pay for an order in advance, and then wait months for the product to arrive at your home. Learn more about how this will affect your holiday shopping here.
